Privacy policy for Facebook and Social Media
How the COMPLETE VOCAL INSTITUTE (CVI) processes your personal data.
CVI follows the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guidelines regarding the shared data responsibility with Facebook and other social media, and CVI would like to inform you about how we process your personal data when you visit our pages on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter).
CVI and the various social platforms have a common data responsibility for information that users enter on CVI’s pages.

When and how do CVI access your information
When you contact CVI on our page (ex. Facebook page/Instagram etc.) on one of the social media, CVI will have access to see the information you have made available on your profile on that social media.
What types of information does CVI process about you
When you use CVI’s social media pages, CVI have access to your name, contact information and any personal information that you display in your profile.
This happens when you for example:
- “likes” or follows our page on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter
- “Comment on” or share our posts
- Have visited our page on Social Media
- Contact us on Messenger.
If you write to us on Messenger, your message will be deleted as soon as we reply to it and within 30 days of you writing, depending on your question. We refer to writing to us at info @ shout, where we ask you in writing for your consent to keep your name and e-mail, which is stored in our database. If consent is not given, your data will be deleted after 14 days from CVI asking for your consent. If consent is given, we keep your data for up to 1 year where we do delete your data if we have not received a renewed consent.
Various “postings” that CVI puts on the FB wall are deleted every year at the end of October.

What do CVI use the information for
CVI process information from users that we access through social media to improve our communication. You should know that social media collects information about you as a user when you visit CVI’s pages.
Facebook and Instagram use Facebook Insights on our pages to collect information about visitors ‘behavior”, in order to, among other things, improve its advertising system and to collect statistics about visitors’ behavior. Below, you can read about how Facebook processes your information here:

In the same way, LinkedIn and Twitter collect information about users’ behavior, which is used for statistics on user behavior for e.g. to improve their advertising system.

You can change your own private settings on the various social media if you want to change the processing of your information.
What is the legal basis for collecting
The information collected is processed so that CVI can carry out our tasks as a teaching institute. CVI’s processing authority is Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter e.
Facebook and other social media collect information to pursue their legitimate interests under Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. And after obtaining consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the Data Protection Regulation.
Sharing your information with other recipients
At no time do we share your information with anyone other than the social media you visit us on. However, be aware that social media can share information with partners, advertisers, survey partners and researchers, just as they can transfer data to third countries.
How long do CVI keep your information
CVI, has access to your information as long as your “like”, comment or sharing of our content is on our site. You can delete your information yourself if you wish to.
Social media places cookies on your equipment when you visit our pages. These cookies contain unique identification codes that remain active if they are not deleted beforehand, which applies to Facebook, for example.
