Dear Singers, this is the preparation for your 17th seminar and graduation is getting close 🙂
SWP/SWDA PERFORMANCE GRADUATION SONG:
Bring your graduation song and work with performance. Meaning your song should be close to ready for singing to the concert, and you only miss the small things, technically or the expression to make it work. If you got parts from your singing status you need to work on, you can use 5-10 min of your SWP/SWDA to work on it.
Individual Evaluation will take place during SWP or after the seminar through Zoom.
RECORDED TEST SINGERS:
Bring a recorded teaching session with one your own singers.
Each of you brings a video recorded (picture and sound) session of 12 minutes, where you teach a singer. The language has to be English.
In the class we look through each session and each of you will get feedback after each session.
About the technical equipment, if you are at CVI:
• You can record it from you IPhone or IPad and stream via the Apple TV.
• All Apple devices can use the Apple TV
• If you don’t have Apple devices, you can connect to the monitor via a HDMI cabel. Please bring an adapter to HDMI. If not, send the video to the CVI Teacher and they can stream it.
About the recording:
• Record it, so we can see the front of you and the singer and what is happening in the session. For instance: if support is explained and tried out.
• Record the session such in advanced that you can make a new recording if needed. Then you have time to look the session before coming to the 17th seminar. You have the time to check the sound and picture.
• If you record through Zoom, have the Gallery view turned on, so we can see both you and the singer.
• If your session is longer than 12 min, then except that we stop it at 12 min.
You can also record many sessions and bring the one that you will like to have feedback on.
MODES, SOUND COLOUR AND EFFECT SUM UP:
Bring questions to the Modes, Sound colour and effects. It can be about any teaching related issues, helping singers with a specific sound colour or working on a certain effect or mixed effects. It can be for your own singing and it can be listening, AA. So quite open.
There will be some try outs and some TEO in this session.
1 HOUR MANUAL & GOING THROUGH THE AA STATUS D:
We will go through, how to present the workshop in one hour.
And then we will go through the AA status D. We will listen to the examples again and discuss the assesment. Bring your original papers/document, so you have them while we go through the AA Status.
AA session and questions: Bring clear examples with modes and various effects. Play 1 recorded example and sing another example, where you sing live.
Bring questions to CVT both technically and pedagogically.
GUEST TEACHERS
Collect and gather information about the guest teacher before the session. Bring questions for the guest teacher teaching your group. See the name on the schedule.
