Course description
This 1 Day Course is aimed at singers that have never worked with CVT and who wish to further extend their vocal ability getting secure in how to practice and integrate improvisation, phrasing and ornamentation as part of their vocal expression and vocal performance.
‘Ornamentation’ means to decorate singing. The decorations can be both melodic and rhythmic. They are also known as ‘fast phrasings’, rapid ‘runs of notes’, or (in classical music) ‘coloratura’ or ‘melisma’. Fast phrasings or melismas are often used in world music, Gospel, R’n’B music and many operas.
Here the singers get precise tools on how to break free of the original song adding rapid runs of notes and balance artistry and expression with technique and musicianship helping them to achieve and further develop their own original sound and improving their performances. When working with improvisation the singer gets a deeper understanding, find and try out the various melodic and rhythmic elements.
What is CVT (Complete Vocal Technique)

The course fee is € 250 / DKK 1.875
I does not have to be a professional recording but just so we can hear you sing.
This mean that you should be able to both understand and communicate in English, as well as having the ability to receive teaching in a professional language.
If not complying with the above mentioned, we recommend:
- An intensive English course before starting your education.
- The possibility to bring along an interpreter for the entire course.
If you wish to sign up, we will ask you to complete an online application form. The form will ask you to enter information about your education, singing history etc.

The sign-up form is not financially binding until you have confirmed your spot at the course by email. The admission board will first send you an acceptance letter giving you some time to confirm on email if you wish to accept the spot at the course.
