Update to the technique

How about below high C, is it possible to use flageolet at lower pitches? Or is it possible but not recommended? I'm asking this because I feel like having different neutrals, but of course it's possible that one of them (which I consider as a "falsetto" although I'm aware that the term is vague) is the "real" neutral and another one is "curbing-like" neutral, or something similar.

I think that CVI should update their definition of flageolet. Because the way they define it now is not concurrent with todays knowledge, at least not scientifically.
